Yes and no. Maybe by California standards. And I wasn't just alluding to political affiliation

Irvine is Asians and Jews. Tustin/Anaheim is little Mexico. And this was 25 years ago. I can only imagine what it looks like now. If your goal is a mixed melting pot then sure.
