EPA warns water systems nationwide about increasing cyberattacks

The EPA issued an alert Monday stating it would enforce more security measures to protect the nation's drinking water systems.

Grew up in a town with really hard water. At some point the city started doing something to soften it at the municipal level and suddenly hot water taps began clogging with a goo. Back then the kitchen sink at least had a drinking faucet that was unsoftened, I believe.
