Does anyone remember like, I want to say the mid 2000's when country music blew up out of nowhere and became 'pop'? It was so over the top and everyone was listening to country music, dudes I never thought would touch the shit. Every single female. I am guessing there was some sort of comms push on it to mainstream it so they could use it to flip conservatives slowly into liberals. Can't wait for decoding symbols to do this one.

Exactly, like everything else they distort and corrupt they got to country; but never really was country to me. Give me George Jones, AJ, Randy Travis etc but the garbage they are pushing out now was all marketing 101 as you stated.
