OK, I found the answer: Ross Ulbricht, the creator and owner of the "Silk Road" website which sold illegal drugs and other unlawful goods and services. Sentenced to life in prison in 2015.

I've read American Kingpin. The story of Ross Ulbricht and his creation of the Silk Road.

Quite a fascinating read actually. He is the epitome of a Libertarian.

Stay out of our lives government.

Could use a whole lot more of that right now.
