There are four other Americans still detained on Turks and Caicos Islands for carrying ammunition in their luggage.

The ammo in luggage scam got really bad in the Philippines. Manny paqcuiao had to step in and create something like a hotline you can dial if the corrupt police are trying to pull this on you in the phillipines.

There are vending machines at Asian airports that will shrink wrap your luggage now to prevent airport staff from putting shell casings and other contraband in them to shake a bribe out of you or worse.
