Since the beginning the doctors and nurses have been killing people knowing their treatment was wrong and most of them didn’t care about you and me. I remember one friend I had, she was asthmatic and she died because the nurse was smoking outside and when she came back from smoking she had passed. Everybody was outraged but her parents were very poor and didn’t know about a lot of things, she was 12 years old.
Hospital error is the third leading cause of death in the US.
Then throw in some non-error planned deaths and you get some pretty high numbers.

Gosh. That's a sad story. Maybe everyone is overworked and joyless in those environments which eventually lead to errors or an overall detachment.
