There are definitely some misperceptions in this lady’s understanding. Sodium thiopental is a barbiturate induction agent. At high doses it renders a person unconscious. They’re not suffering through a drowning like experience. They’re unconscious and being put to death….and, why do we care if executed people have some ‘extra’ pulmonary edema? I’m confused. Anyway, I personally believe assisted suicide to be wrong morally, ethically, and spiritually.
