All these restaurants will close and nobody will bat an eye because . . . . there is a giant GLUT of restaurants in the United States. I have said for years that this continued growth of restaurants is unsustainable.
People, by nature, seek out “something new”. Restaurants that they supported (for a while) are forgotten as they try new things. Some become “standards” but many do not gain that kind of market penetration. People’s “restaurant rotation” can only hold so many selections at a time.
