Rest assured, anons, whatever happens with the Bragg/Merchan case, it will help Trump win in November. Even a conviction would be overturned because there is reversible error all over the place. Take it from a lawyer of 35 years, no conviction would stand in this case.
🏛️ Crimes, Courts, & Democrats 💸
I will also add that Trump's lawyers have always, on every matter, underwhelmed me. In this case, they should've fought harder for their witness on election law and made more of a record of the judge's bullying of him in front of the jury. And they should've brought a couple witnesses from the media to testify that they are asked/paid to drop stories all the time by people who are not running for public office.
If he is convicted, does he get secret service protection in prison? I would be very worried about being in their custody without a security detail
Of course and what makes you think he'd ever be near general pop? It'd be more of a solitary sort of situation.
