I'm an 8 year veteran with a degree (I tell all not to make this mistake) and my wife as well. We can't find work since being part of a lay off last September. We have applied to over 100 companies and denied before interview on all but two. I was stood up for an interview twice by the same company and then denied when I applied again.
These are the things against us: White, Christian, Patriots, Unvaxxed.
There are many in worse positions than we are but would really be thankful for prayers on our behalf. Thank you all very much and God bless you!
I don't understand these posts, everyone around here can't find anyone willing to work. I can't run errands without seeing a dozen now hiring signs. I just quit my job to go make an extra grand a week. PM me if you're serious and willing to relocate, I can show you a redneck town where you can rent a crappy apartment starting around 1k a month and have you both starting out at $20 an hour job you're probably not gonna like but they have great benefits and sign on bonuses if you aren't afraid of manual labor.
Tuition reimbursement. Suck it up in a hot and dusty factory for 4 years while going to school in the evenings and you'd be an engineer with no student loans and a 120k a year job waiting for you after graduation or she would be a nurse making almost as much. They have days and swing so one of you could be home constantly if you have kids.
