Lost two red pilled friends who didn't get to see the storm who have been in these spheres for years. Anyone in similar boats?

Why are the 2 and 6 in parentheses?

Those two sets of parentheses cost eight (8) keystrokes on a computer, or four on a smartphone. No way in hell are they without meaning.
