I am curious if you were ever left-leaning and moved right? It was a totally unscientific generalization on my part to assume Subaru drivers are left-leaning, but it really does seem true in my area.
We are all Patriots and frens here so it was not meant to be offensive to the 3 Subaru drivers that commented. I am truly curious now.
Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks fren.
p.s. This whole generalization is wrong on my part anyways, because we have one big corrupt Uniparty in DC and then Citizens throughout the land. Instead of R vs D, its really US vs Them. But I am going back into the time machine of at least pre-2016, when most people were convinced we had two parties in our politics.
I am a PNW guy born and raised. Japanese cars are the norm here. My family immediate and extended drives Subaru and Toyota only with the exception of my Dad’s Diesel RAM truck. I woke up my senior year of high school. I may have been more socially liberal when I was younger but have always voted libertarian/Republican.
I get the stereotype and don’t blame you. I live in the immediate Seattle metro area so I like to blend in. I keep my yard a little unkept as well. As we get towards more craziness I like my low profile.
And for the other side, it's kind of like watching someone walk their dog all by themselves in the fresh clean air while wearing a mask...
... or driving a Subaru.
Hey now. I love my Subaru.
I am another Subaru driver. They are reliable and easy to get service on. American cars are ass.
