Yes, you will see it done in a way that we don’t end up with actual Nazi Fascists in charge. This is why it is taking so long.

We are currently in a state of war and likely hidden “military dictatorship” being run by Combatant Commanders who appear to have some portion of delegated C-I-C powers. The Constitution (all versions) appears to be suspended right now, and JAGs appear to have oversight jurisdiction on all Civil and Criminal Courts, including Article III SCOTUS.
