Indoor plumbing, hot water, beds, kitchen and a roof over their heads is probably a step or two up from most's previous living situation - soon they will demand more.

Welcome to your dream home in the heart of Harvest Hills! This stunning two-story property offers 8 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and a fully developed basement, sitting proudly on a massive corner lot. Located directly across from a picturesque lake and a vibrant playground, this residence provides over 3,000 square feet of thoughtfully designed living space. As you step through the grand entrance, you'll be greeted with soaring vaulted ceilings....
It's a huge house (3000 sq. ft.!!!) with 8 bedrooms = mom, dad, and 7 kids. I know more than one family with 7 kids. The house seems to have been built that way, when you go through the photos, not "all available living areas converted to bedrooms". Yes, some people LIKE having large families.
I don't see this as a problem.
And actually CAD$700K for this is a really good price. You'd get much less house for a lot more money in Toronto.
Also, this is not a family, these types of houses are run by landlords taking advantage of high rents. INSTEAD of a family enjoying the home, actually, there will be like 10-12 working people living there.

You will own nothing and like it.
If you don't know any better......
That’s an ugly ass house

Lived in Calgary as a drywaller + taper for 12 years. These are typical homes in SW Calgary. Sorry, this has nothing to do with Trudope or the Feds.

It's not build that way. The front living and dining room are converted into bedrooms, and the living space in the basement.
