This is why, as a person who loves Jesus, when Bible people insist on preaching about the Old Testament my thought is always... God of the Old Testament, is not "my" God. My confusion about the Jews being The Chosen People comes from this wariness.

Im not sure exactly what you're saying but perhaps a form of dispensationalism. I am a whole bible believer, The Father and the Son and His Holy Spirit is one in the same in my view.
