I remember when Scalia died. I used to listen to NPR those days and they used to go on about how this poor fella the most wonderful Merrick Garland really deserves to be in the SCOTUS, but the big bad GOP Senators were holding back on his nomination, and how he had to make a trip to DC every other week on the off chance he would get nominated, and get disappointed each time.
And how Obama really deserves another nomination, and its just so meany mean thing thats being done against him.
Honestly, looking back, I am happy they put him through all that (not that it was much) and they dangled the SCOTUS right in front of his nose for a whole year and then yanked it off.
Also, I am pretty sure Killary was behind it too - I am sure she wanted to swoop in and nominate her first scotus right off the bad. All good, all played exactly how it should be.
And this guy was going to be nominated for the Supreme Court https://obamawhitehouse.archives.gov/the-press-office/2016/03/16/background-judge-merrick-garland ___ so they cover up that by doing their “coverup” and coverup that “coverup” with M.G. ____and Kenneth Starr concludes insufficient evidence to prosecute in the Whitewater Case https://www.tuscaloosanews.com/story/opinion/editorials/2002/03/22/whitewater-investigation-finally-at-an-end/27820376007/
