Bloody Nicholas did his share to turn his people away from the autocratic rule of the Tsar. When one man rules by fiat and that one man is weak and incompetent, it spells disaster for his subjects. The Tsar's endless willingness to shed the blood of his countrymen finally caught up with him, and his family paid the price.
That is precisely the "folklore" this video is trying to expose-- Romanov diaries do not support the picture painted by the Free Masons
I didn’t realize that viciously incompetent and Tyrannical was still the current story. Considering it originated with the Soviets. Who had every incentive to lie.
Many other Accounts of Russian expats, Former White Army Republicans, and other refugees from the region who wouldn’t necessarily have the same incentive of the Monarchists to gloss over his failures paint the Tsar as a fundamentally decent man. If incredibly Naive. At least when compared to the standards of previous Russian Tsars at any rate. Being left incredibly unprepared for rule by the untimely death of his father. Who pulled the classic “I’ll start showing you how to do stuff and play politics later. Enjoy your youth.” And then he died in his late 40s. Leaving the 26 year old Nicholas to figure shit out.
The Royal Cousins were / are hoping for a cut of his action and were of no help.
I think he was 16?
His Father died in 1894. Nicholas was born 1868.
1894-1868=26
To err is human , to repeat it is evil :
1 And an [a]Angel of the Lord came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you unto the land which I had sworn unto your fathers, and said, I will never break my covenant with you.
11 ¶ Then the children of Israel did wickedly in the sight of the Lord, and served [g]Baal,
12 And forsook the Lord God of their fathers, which brought them out of the land of Egypt and followed other gods, even the gods of the people that were round about them, and bowed unto them, and provoked the Lord to anger.
13 So they forsook the Lord, and served Baal, and [h]Ashtoreth.
14 And the wrath of the Lord was hot against Israel, and he delivered them into the hands of spoilers, that spoiled them, and he sold them into the hands of their enemies round about them, so that they could no longer stand before their enemies.
15 [i]Whithersoever they went out, the [j]hand of the Lord was sore against them, as the Lord had said, and as the Lord had sworn unto them: so he punished them sore.
