How does everyone see the Great awakening movement tying into revelation. Personally I see 4 options
-
we are in Satan's short season, so most has already played out in the past (see jtfollowsjc on x)
-
trump is the anti Christ and we are all being herded (see Donniedarklend on x)
-
we are being given a reprieve chance from God. A chance to turn from evil and being his spirit back into the world. So we aren't in revelation yet
-
revelation is taking place in a way we just can't understand yet and most theological ideas are not correct
I lean towards 4 but 1 and 3 are next options for me with option 2 simply beinf in the back of my mind
The TL;DR version is:
Pope Leo XIII was given a vision that God has allowed Satan 100 years to try to destroy the church. The Fatima apparition seems to indicate the 100 year clock started June 13, 1929. So, expect things to build until then, and then there will be some spectacular spiritual events as Satan's time of a "free hand" will end.
Details:
On October 13, 1884 Pope Leo XIII, just after celebrating Mass, turned pale and collapsed as though dead. He revived, and then recounted having a vision of Satan approaching the throne of God, boasting that he could destroy the Church. According to Pope Leo XIII the Lord reminded him that his Church was imperishable. Satan then replied, “Grant me one century and more power over those who will serve me, and I will destroy it.” Our Lord granted him 100 years. Pope Leo then composed a prayer, which was said after all Catholic Masses until the liturgical upheavals of the 1960s deleted it.
In 1917, the Mother of God appeared to three children in Fatima, Portugal. She said she would come "later" to ask for the Pope united with the Bishops of the world to consecrate Russia by name, to avoid the evils of communism spreading. On June 13, 1929, she appeared again to Lucia, one of the original visionaries, and asked for the consecration. https://fatima.org/the-apparition-at-tuy-1929/
In 1931, annoyed with the delay, Lucia wrote to her bishop, "Make it known to my ministers that, given they follow the example of the King of France in delaying the execution of My request, they will follow him into misfortune." https://wmreview.co.uk/2022/01/21/king-of-france-fatima-crisis/
The part about the King of France is a reference to the June 17, 1689 apparition of Jesus to Margaret-Mary Alacoque to request that the King consecrate himself and France to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The King refused, as did his son. One hundred years later, to the day, the King’s grandson, Louis XVI, finally made the consecration, but it was too late to avoid the evils of the French Revolution. https://catholicstand.com/dear-france-tender-daughter-sacred-heart-3/
Various Popes have tried, but flubbed, the consecration. Either it was done without the Bishops, or the consecration was of "the world" or as Francis did most recently it was of "Russia and the Ukraine". Never exactly as the Mother of God requested it.
The 100 year clock seems to be winding down. If things go down like they did during the French Revolution, there will be a brief period of tremendous upheaval and violence right at the end, and then there will be peace (or rather as much of it as we can have in this world).
