JUST so EVERYONE KNOWS...Look at the decision in the Alito Case of when their flag was upside down...HEHEHEHE...
The FEDERAL COURT that heard the Alito case deemed that the display of the flag was: "NORMATIVE STATEMENT".
From Gregory P. Magarian, Law Professor, Washington University, St Louis: "flying the flag upside down to send a political message is protected by the First Amendment."
Timothy Zick, Law Professor, William & Mary School of Law:
"Punishing someone for flag misuse or desecration violates the bedrock of free speech principle-that government has NO POWER to punish a speaker based on the message they seek to convey, including through the potent symbol of the U.S. flag."
Sure - but an HOA is not government, and they have a signed contract allowing them to be a-holes. The first amendment only restricts the government - not private entities.

Then why did the Federal Court side with the Alito's AND NOT THE HOA??????
What the hell are you talking about? There was no federal court case. Some law professor said the "normative statement" thing.
