I understand. I remember when I put my little girl (who is now 39) wedding together. I tried to give her the wedding I always wanted and it turned out lovely. The hardest part was she asked George to walk her down the aisle as she knew her own father would show up drunk, make an A## out of himself and perhaps trip over her dress. He then got mad and said he wasn't coming to watch some other man walk her down the aisle. It was NOT my idea as it was her wedding. But the point of the story is...I still cried realizing that she was no longer my little girl and that she was setting out to make a family of her own. She now has 4 kids, 3 boys and a girl. The last boy is 8 months old. A sneak surprise late in life baby who is a bundle of joy and strong as an ox.
Ah the mud pies I used to make my brothers eat with cherries from the cherry tree. It sounds like Kimber had a great childhood. Did she make you eat the mud pies? I'll bet she did.
That's so sweet. There are days when I wish she was still a little girl but I'm proud of who she has become and is becoming.

I'm already realizing she's no longer the little girl I used to fill a dirt hole full of water for her to play in. SIGH!!!
