Houses by me are $700,000 & need to be redone & mtg rate at 7%. Who can afford any of this? Cost me $72 to fill my car up today @ 3.99/gal icluding .10 off.
Same, to be honest. They are old houses that would likely benefit from new wiring and modern standards as well as many repairs, and some of them are still selling upwards of a cool million.
Though my area was once great, and lauded as one of the safer areas in the country, it has been seriously overwhelmed by unsavories that has only worsened over time.
My town still is good but over the last 10 years we have all the dogs from the city moving out here and are currently being over run by people from the Middle East.

Exactly, the housing went up but salaries didn't. Vanguard, blackrock & state street. All took off once the kenyan came into office.
