Another case of when worlds collide. This bridge is named after the politically connected family of Thomas Ravenel, former star of Bravo's Southern Charm. He lost his political seat due to a cocaine scandal. Then he took up with a young beautiful redhead and had 2 kids. They split in a nasty public scandal that continues to this day, as she was recently arrested for another DWI. It's just funny when one of my guilty TV pleasures intersects with what's going on in the world.
