Exactly. Those that were wake or waking up got a bunch of info on what the future would hold. Also, got to see the DS very, very clearly for the first time.

Q was a movement of information for the information war we are STILL in.

Everyone else had to 'touch the stove' or 'be shown' what the DS wants to do to us.
