Never understood how our government miss manages our money then we are punished with higher interest rates. How did we let them get away with this for so long?
Well see, they (congress/president at that time) stupidly borrowed money from a private banking corporation called the federal reserve starting in 1913 instead of printing our own money, see EO 11110 written by jfk. That private bank charges compounding interest on what is borrowed. That private bank, run by private bankers decides the interest rate and how much money to print. We screwed ourselves a long time ago. You and I are here for the fallout, baby.
There's no "we" involved. THEY screwed us long ago. We had no say in it whatsoever.
I should have been more precise, “we” being “the elected representatives from 1913”. And yes, those “we” were bought and paid for by the “they” the private bankers.
