If no X account, you can still read comments by substituting a Nitter address.

Here's how:

Substitute the "x.com" in the URL with this: "nitter.poast.org" (minus the quotation marks) and it will show you the post, comments and links.

Now, one caveat: the Nitter display often will not play the videos, but will allow you to see all the responses and links. So you just copy any videos you want to watch and open them in a new tab, reverse the address by taking the Nitter insert from the URL and restoring it back to "x.com" and the videos will play.
