I kind of agree with one of Sundances suppositions that the angle in play is to declare a mistrial. If mistrial is declared, the a new trial will be required. The new trial will serve to keep Trump under a gag order.

This has never been about guilty vs innocent, this is not about putting Trump in jail, the is about keeping him out of the White House.
