If women's bits merged into a cloaca and they started laying eggs, then I would start taking the threat of bird flu seriously.

Ape and pig organs get rejected in side of a year if transplanted into humans as a stop-gap, and they are both mammals...............

Only real cross species organisms that there is any significant occurrence and documentation of is bacterial, not viral(higher order parasites(worms etc) not withstanding)....
