I sent a few shares to open my acc,and then sent them in batches so I didn't lose access to all of them.
E trade took 3 weeks to send them, fidelity is much faster I believe. It will take a few weeks after you send your shares to recive your acc. Info and gain access to your shares. If you are overseas it could take longer.
With AST (for BBBY) people were saying it took a few weeks to get your account info, after opening the account (first DRS transfer).
When I saw the shares leave my Fidelity account, I waited two days and then called AST and asked them to mail me a balance statement. It arrived after a couple of days and had all my account info. Maybe that works with Computershare as well.
Fidelity is the fastest at drs. E-trade and others are much slower. I don't want to miss the chance to sell by having my shares in transit. I would do it in batches if at all at this point.
Nice price jump right afterwards. I saw the news here and picked up several calls before they went up.
Thanks to whoever posted it,
Put your seatbelts on a lift those trays to their upright position bc we are about to BLAST DA FUK OFF!!!!

No need for a lawyer, simply follow this visual guide (with lots of pictures) about opening a new ComputerShare account.

Think on this a bit.

I would hold in my broker at this point. It takes 3 weeks or more to open a account on computershare.
