Keep investing, diversify, get some different mutuals, stocks. I’m retired, but my company matched up to 6%, so if you didn’t put in at least 6%, then you were throwing money away. Gradually increase what you are putting into your 401k. When you get a raise, put some of that toward the 401k. When I retired, I was putting in 31% of my pay. It adds up!

I recently took half out as a loan but yes, at least 6%. I am waiting for the adjustments and then will go back to 12%.
