I don't think GameStop actually was having technical difficulties on Thursday. I think they were screwing with the short sellers on purpose.
First They delayed the meeting for a while trying to fix the problem supposedly. Then they moved it to the next day. Then later on they announced they would move it to Monday. (Which by the way is national bring your cat to work day)
I think they did this to screw up the hedge funds and short sellers plans.
If they actually wanted to broadcast an investors meeting they could have done it in a multitude of other ways easily either the same day or the next day. YouTube, zoom, X, etc.
