Recovering Catholic...but Jesus was the example. He overcame this world. The only "thing" these evil animals haven't corrupted is the God within yourself - your connection to the Almighty. That's where you need to take refuge and dwell when this fabricated circus world full of filth all gets to be too much. Whatever that means to YOU.

In general, I really don't like quoting religious texts, but in this instance it seems appropriate (mainly because it isn't posted to win an argument or make anyone wrong - both of which I despise) :

In the Bible, Jesus said, “In the world ye shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” in John 16:33. Jesus said this to his apostles in his final moments before Gethsemane, as he prepared to leave the world and knew that difficult times were ahead for his disciples. He wanted them to be ready for the challenges they would face, and to know that they could have peace in him, and experience a peace that surpasses all understanding.

It's tough right now. We are very much at war on all fronts, including soul/spirit. But know that you are not alone. There are kindred spirits all around you & you are ultimately invincible as a part of God. Try to strengthen that notion until you know it to not be a belief, but a fact. The truth is out there in there.
