I suspect what it really will amount to is Trump communicating to Ukraine something like "Look, when I am inaugurated, my first act will be to shut off the support. You can wait for it to happen, and things will be bad, or you can take it for granted NOW and negotiate accordingly for a more agreeable result. Take your pick, but the joyride is over. Be mindful that Putin knows what I am telling you."
