Frens, I humbly ask for your prayers
🧘Mental/Physical Health 🏋🏼♂️
My daughter and her family have left for Camp Pendleton. east coast to west coast. They will be on the road for about 8 days. Five children, two dogs, one cat, and a hamster. I am shattered. I've helped raise my grandchildren for the last 16 years and this has hit me very hard. I am really struggling. They will, thankfully, be on base but just from all the horror stories out of Cal that I hear daily I'm fearful for their wellbeing.. PI ask that you please lift them up for safe travels. I'd like to thank you all in advance for your prayers because I need to take a little break and I may not be able to respond right away. My heart hurts.
Bless your heart. I know you feel like this is going to kill you. been there. My son was at Pendleton. Not one horror story did I hear. That is one of the most excellent and wealthy counties in Southern California, and that does help! How long will they be there? Where do they go after this? The kids will have awesome memories of living there. It is going to be ok for them. Where do you live, in regards to visiting out there? Take this one week at a time. And start planning way ahead for going out there, and for it being a long visit. Things like even renting a peaceful room in a Christian house, quiet retired people type thing, and a car rental for the duration. Any other relatives out there?
Thank you! We'll be there in August September at the latest. They could be there anywhere from 2-4 years. We're from Va and they were at Quantico. I should have clarified that I don't fear them living in Pendleton my fear is when they start touring the state. My sister was just in S Cal and she said LA and San Fran were horrible. No family out there but I know the military community will be there for them. Thank you for the advice I really appreciate it.
