I’ve listened to many pastors and preachers online and this guy always rubbed me the wrong way. Call it intuition, but this guy kind of repulsed me, has never seemed like a kind, loving Christian man. I always think of him as “Robert you’d-better-tithe-at-least-10%-or-you’re-not-a-true-christian-and-will-burn-in-hell Morris”. I thought he was all about the money, but it seems that his transgressions included things far more nefarious than financial greed. This young lady coming forward to give a clearer description of his alleged crime(s) (assuming she’s telling the truth) is perhaps exposing him to the point that he gets expelled from his ministry.
There are a number of details in the article that would answer your questions.
He has admitted that she told the truth, and even confessed to the church in the late 80s. He was given "counselling" for a couple of years and then allowed to continue his duties (.. so don't hold your breath waiting for him to be expelled). Like the Catholic church they seemed to want it swept under the rug.
Morris also referred to her as a "young lady" which she dislikes, as do I. She was a child and that is how she should be referred to.
And too bad Trump didn't get the same read from him as you, or he wouldn't have hired him as an advisor.
Or did PDJT know and hoped that shining a light on him would prompt the MSM and/or Trump haters to investigate the guy and force justice (since it seems the incident was, basically, swept under the rug)?
