Heatwave hitting the midwest this week. Just caught the morning MSM for traffic updates and they had someone on from the local power company.
He said to stay cool and comfortable this summer, set your thermostat to 78 degrees.

Weather is crap here. The fake news are.pushing "warmest May ever, because climate emergency" but everyone knows we have been freezing our nuts off and all.our garden plants don't have the expected growth for the time of year. Im wearing my winter sweaters even though it is Summer Solstice this week. I'm in west London UK.
Its just the same here on the south coast of the UK, I am still using my winter duvet.
My favorite is how the local new gives "tips to staying cool", like drink plenty of water, stay in the shade, take frequent breaks. Wow, thank you local retard news because I would probably be dead on the sidewalk if not for your frankly revolutionary tips on staying cool in the heat.
Yea, indeed. What I find ironic is our city boasted about being closed down tomorrow for Juneteenth.....yet now this morning all the rec centers and pools are magically open (holiday pay) to cool down.
My thermostat only goes as high as 72.
