I was in high school in the 80's I lived it and it has been real ever since Babylon of old. Devil/Satan worship and ritual abuse is real and was being exposed in even some mainstream media. So they had to start a narrative catch phrase to belittle the whistle blowers. Just like the CIA launched "conspiracy theory" to squash JFK single shooter deniers.
