Now this is a better reason to celebrate! The fake NATIONAL holiday is just BS. They make it sound like slavery ended on this day. It didn't. This should be a STATE holiday for Texas only. It was the day that Texas slaves were finally told they were free. In Galveston. Near Texas as any BOI will tell you.
