I have recently found out my close friend got vaccinated. It just never came up in discussion. From what I understand, the moderna and Pfizer gene therapies are different from the AZ and J&J vaccines. I never hear the two categories distinguished from eachother. Are there different protocols or worries he should have if he took the J&J?

May I ask if you're in a red state and that's why the situation seems out of hand? Im in a blue state and I have relatives who have taken 3 boosters on top of the 2 jabs and they're fine.

I am in blue PA outside of Pittsburgh. They all lived around here. My husband's sister live in PA outside of Harrisburg

My brother lived in Virginia.
