Yet another money laundering scheme. If DJT wipes out income tax, where are the corrupt going to get their payoffs from? My friend, a small business owner with a food truck, applied for funds d/t the Covid lockdown, and was denied. It is all a scam designed to help all of their friends and money launder. How many people, without businesses or who set up illegal fronts (and were minorities or prison inmates), received funds through fraud?
I tried to help my friend to get into the program because she was low income in Oregon. I know it's a useless money laundering scheme and not worth anything.
I don't recall the exact numbers, but if IIRC, this is about the same cost as Boeing got for the Starliner debacle, and roughly twice what SpaceX got to develop Dragon.
Not saying either was an appropriate use of funds, but at least we got some tangible returns on those spends.

Not to mention the multi -millions wasted on the Gaza pier.
You got it.
I don't think there's ever been an internet program who's money has ever actually gone towards improvements
I believe it.

Oh. Now, that's interesting. Thanks.
It's actually worse. Boeing "only" got 4.2 Billion for Starliner.
Thanks.
Funny how so much is credited to satellites for communication and internet access when I read that 99% of that traffic happens on under seas cables.
Long time ago when internet was first created, I read an article about spaghetti in the ocean. That's how most of the internet is done.
