Jesus' dad is supposed to be the source of traditional morality but what did he do? When the earth was a bit of a mess he wiped out 99.9999999999999999999999999% of life on the planet. It makes homicidal mania look kind in comparison.

God declared that sin brings death earlier in Genesis. People sinned and reaped what they sowed.
The NT talks about it in 2 Peter 2:4-10 and 2 Peter 3:1-7. God decided to judge the ungodly with the flood. I’m a mere human with limited knowledge and understanding. I can’t judge God from my vantage point. I can certainly see that he’s consistent with his word that sin brings death.
If Genesis 6 is your reason to call God a homicidal maniac, then how about 2 Peter 3:7 when God destroys all of the ungodly at the day of judgement? Isn’t it the same thing but with more people?
