One way to recognize a 'non christian' christian cult is to recognize their aversion to the cross. Notice no mormon building has a cross on it or in it. Same for JW's. They also both deny the eternal deity of Christ.
I thought the logo was Joseph Smith praying in a grove of trees with god, Jesus and the angel Moroni appearing to him. That and a beehive. Things change though, it's been many years since I attended a mormon church, the exception being 2 funerals for High School friends that died couple years ago.

The Church’s logo is the open tomb with Christ exiting.
