I don't have a clear opinion on this... It's muddy and half-baked, if for no other reason than I can't yet fully grasp all of the implications of this technology.

Yes, I get that this tech could be used as a real "force multiplier" (for lack of better term), especially by unsavory actors to disrupt the large, slow moving gears of our society.

What really concerns me is the fact that we've been "patriotically compromised" for so long that the default thought process of most doesn't settle into privacy, freedom of expression and other yardsticks of a sovereign peoples constitution - but rather, due to relentless communism pushed into every facet of the mental landscape it lands squarely in the realm of "well I've got nothing to hide" NPC folly of thought.

We REALLY need a shot of hard core patriotism injected into the newer generations because they're frighteningly inept, misinformed and have zero clue about how our country is supposed to work and the reasons why it is and isn't like communist China. When you show up late to the party, you missed a lot....

What does everyone here think the primary positive and negative implications of this technology are AND what do you think WE the people should be doing about it to make sure our future isn't mirroring a character from a sci-fi dystopian shit hole?
