She feels "safe" as long as Biden is still there. Why? Maybe, some blackmail against her will just happen to be released if she does not still back Biden? Maybe, she has way too much influence and power behind the scenes over Biden that, will be lost, if they go with another candidate? Two reasons off top of head that could apply.. heh.
