This is what freaks people out the most. They can't believe reality could be so different than it is. Their ego can't handle it from building up a rigid but brittle framework of understanding all their life. So they lash out. It manifests in some pretty extreme behavior. I have interacted with these people quite a lot so I know how freaked out they are that "crazies" believe "this stuff."
