Worshipping Israel and saying that God chose it is also anti Christian. It's written as clear as day in the Gospel, the temple will be destroyed and in 3 days it will be rebuilt, IN CHRIST!!! Universally in Christ, all who have been baptised in Christ are part of his body, which is the new temple. I've argued with so many good Christians over this. If they had accepted him, yes, it would have remained a "holy" city and the home base of Chtistianity. The home base is in the hearts of all faithful, it is not a brick and mortar faith, imo.
