That is what I have been wondering about. Wouldn't it be awfully convenient for them if something like some "deranged right-wing" "Trump supporter" got past the protection and wasted him, preferably probably just before the elections? A martyr, presumably then sympathy and supporting votes for whoever the replacement Dem candidate was, etc?
