Tent cities!? In Oregon, during the depression, they had poor houses. Giant farms where you could have a room and earn a wage working on a farm. When poor people got back on their feet, they left and built homes. The end result is that mcminemans bought them and built a hotel and venue around the infrastructure. I wish imminent domain could reclaim this passion for helping the impoverished. Itβs not their agenda though.
