It was entertaining at first, as it brought back memories of what seemed a more innocent time. However, knowing what I know now, watching the baby killers and sick fucks being interviewed early on in their careers made me sick to my stomach. IMO, that show oozes, to paraphrase George Carlin "it's a big club and you ain't in it" kind of evil!

I like watching old shows also for the reasons you mentioned. I sometimes wish I did not know some of the junk that I suspect now. I have started watching Perry Mason shows to the point that I bought all 271 episodes.
Perry Mason reruns are my go to in several situations.
Didn't every show end up with someone in the courtroom standing up and saying, OK OK I can't stand it any more, I did it.
