It was entertaining at first, as it brought back memories of what seemed a more innocent time. However, knowing what I know now, watching the baby killers and sick fucks being interviewed early on in their careers made me sick to my stomach. IMO, that show oozes, to paraphrase George Carlin "it's a big club and you ain't in it" kind of evil!

One thing I can say about detective, legal, and, uh, detective/legal-adjacent shows even in THIS century is that pedophilia and human trafficking are taken seriously as the crimes they actually are.
I'm thinking The Closer, with Kyra Sedgewick in what's probably her best role, Shark, with James Woods, and Lie To Me with Tim Roth in probably HIS best role, if slightly over-the-top in places -- Lie to Me is also interesting as it's "inspired by the training of real-life deception detection expert Dr. Paul Ekman" per the show website (and various articles) and especially in Season One provides presumably true details of the science behind Ekman's work.
