They've deliberately bastardized language and attempted to strip holidays, commemorations, etc of their true meaning. Fortunately it will be relatively easy to undo all this type of damage when we get to the other side and the minions have been extricated from positions where they can harm humanity. One of the first exercises in the etymological realm I'd like to see is renaming "them" from "elite" to "parasite".
